Hello
I have a client that is running several computers on a network. There is a
"server" running XP Pro with an ADSL connection, ICS, firewall, mail server
etc.
Two client machines, the only two running XP Pro, are intermittently
dropping the network connection and instantly reconnecting again. The
network connection balloon in the system tray pops up saying "Network Cable
Unplugged" and then a few seconds later appears again saying "Network
Connection Connected"
The network is static IP using 192.168.x.x and functions fine most of the
time for these machines and all the time for the other machines. The problem
seems to be worst when they are trying to send/receive mail.
I have checked the network settings, all machines are setup identically, and
all seems to be normal.
Anyone have any ideas on this ? Have done Google web/news searches and not
turned up much in the way of similar issues.
Thanks in advance
