I am converting some old home movies to DVD for my sister who had them moved
from 8mm to VHS. I have separated sections of the tape into separate clips
in moviemaker. Since there is no sound I have added MP3 music. During
playback I get music up to a point thru several clips then it stops. It
picks up later, then stops again. I have not cut the MPS to fit the clips.
Some clips were very dark so I cut them to lighten them. Also, the subject
matter varies. So I use fades between clips. Any solution to the music
quitting, starting and then quitting again?

Hello,

Yes, your solution is to convert the music to WAV format and proceed from
there. Also, if you have any MPeg video, you need to get it converted to
AVI....basicaly MM does not like any Mpeg or MP3 and sometimes JPeg
files.....for a converter go to my website and click GREAT LINKS > KNOWLEDGE
BASE > VIDEO HELP where you will find the best on-line source of info/files
relating to file conversion.
