Windows 2000 TCP/IP allows user to set interfacemetric.
However, it seems that windows 2000 does not use metric
when making decision of routing. What would be
interfacemetric for?

For each NIC installed, W2K creates a LOCAL AREA
CONNECTION, go to the properties of your cannection.
Go to TCP/IP properties and click on the ADVANCED button.
In the TCP/IP tab remove the check mark near auto metric
and type the propers metric.

Windows will take the lower metric first.
