Interface unaesthetically pleasing

I am running a Dell Latitude D600 laptop with Windows XP
Pro 5.1.2600, LCD screen resolution 1400 x 1050.

Screens for this beta are somewhat jumbled. Graphical
elements at the top of the window are overlapping buttons.
Everything seems functional, but it looks a bit funny.
 
MSAS does not like that resolution - it is something that has been
documented so far but not resolved at this point.
