I notice when using Outlook 2003 under Windows 2000 Pro
that the menu options are all gey and white.

Yet when I am in Windows XP the proper menu bar colors are
displayed.

Is this only in the beta version as its pretty drab
running Outlook 2003 under Windows 2000 Pro

This is because of the theme you are running. Setting it from blue to silver
(Display Properties-> tab Appearance) will change Outlook silver. Disable
themes and it will look just about the same as it does in Windows 2000.

Hope this helped!
