Interesting Folder & File

Using XP-Media Edition and Office 2003

I have recently started seeing some unusual folder names on my local drive
and the file inside the folder is equally as unusual.

The folder name is 0e54c2763c7b901636b7c67a7d7843 and contains one file.

The file name is msxml4-KB927978-enu.log and it open in Notepad with lines
of code.

Anyone know what this is and what generates it???

It is the log file from installing an update.
It was created by the installer.
KB927978 is the update that was installed.

Thanks so much. I never connected this to the update. Any reason I cannot
delete the folder now that the update is completed??
