I'm trying to put up a poll page in one of the web sites I manage. I have
not been able to find a form that will work. Where can I find the
"interactive" check mark stuff and whatever I need to have a box for
comments, etc., etc.

Thanks,

Do you mean poll as in a form that users vote on a certain question, and can
see the results represented as a bar graph/percentage kind of thing based on
the responses?

If so, this would require some programming knowledge; if you Google for
"Poll" or "Quiz" and you will get millions of hits for ready-made scripts -
all you do is install the script on your server. Your server needs to
support some form of server side scripting to process the results and most
likely write the results to some form of database - at a basic level even a
flat-text file is a 'database' for this purpose - not necessarily something
like MySQL. (FP ext probably are not recommended, as support was withdrawn
for Linux as at 11 July 2009), since Frontpage itself is now an obsolete
product.

Can you give further information about *exactly* what you're hoping to
achieve?

Oh, yes you interpreted my question correctly. Guess I'm out of luck. I
don't own the server, I only have access to taking care of the 4 web sites on
the server that hosts my sites.

The server does have a poll function, but I was hoping to do something on
the individual web site in order to draw people to the site.

Thanks for your quick answer...not the one I wanted to hear, but certainly
will save me time wasted in further searching.
