Hi Everyone,

I have folder redirection set for my user's desktop. I have mapped it to a
shared folder on the network drive which is read only. When the user logs
off the computer I notice a sync window appears. Is there a way to prevent
it from popping up? I dont understand why it appears since the desktop is
read only (user cannot change the desktop).

Any assistance is appreciated.

Disable "offline caching" in the share properties of the server folder where
the desktop folder resides. Frankly, I disable offline files via group
policy for all LAN-connected machines/users.


PS: Intellisync is a software product made by Puma Technologies - not
relevant here, I think. :)
