intellipoint 6

I have lost the user abilities on my keyboard and mouse associated with
intellipoint 6.1 so I tried to unistall the programs and recieved an error:
"Error applying transforms. Verify transform path is valid" Can anyone help
as I do not know what a transform path is or how to fix this problem.
I have tried to reinstall intellipoint but the process stops at the "Install
Files" screen after about 1/4 install, telling me "there is insufficient disc
space or an unexpected error has occured and to fix either" I have 25gigs
free space on my hard drive!
 
Try device mgr,expand the tree for either product,R.click,select uninstall,
do not restart pc,once thru,open add/remove programs,uninstall software.
Also,one of them is at v6.1 while the other is at v6.2
Either way,depending on which model(s) you use,the keyboard doesnt support
PS/2,only USB
 
Thanks Andrew E, I tried your idea but sorry it didn't work, but I notice
that I do not have the "remove" part of the button in the add/remove programs
screen for both the intellipoint 6.01 and intelliType Pro 6.01 programs only
a "change" button. All the other programs there have a combined
"change/remove" button is this part of the problem? is there something I can
do in regedit to fix this problem?
