Hello,
I just upgraded to Vista Ultimate from win xp. In XP I had intellipoint 4.1
installed...yes it was a little outdated...but my mouse worked fine and it
had all the features I was looking for. Since upgrading to vista, I no
longer have the functions I am looking for and I would like to install
intellipoint 6.02 or 6.1 to upgrade my mouse features. However, vista will
not let me remove my old 4.1 software as it is not compatable with this
version of windows. When installing the 6.02 software I get the message
"insufficient hard disk space or an unexpectd error occurred." ( I have
several GIGs of space so that is clearly not an issue. Has anyone else run
into this issue yet, or something similar? Although I am probably the only
dork out there still running version 4.1 of intellipoint.
I found some instructions online that refrence deleting several folders and
editing ther registry, and since I am a noob at vista I am reluctant to do so
at this moment if there is an easier solution available. So... any ideas or
solutions??
