Intellimouse wireless explorer (optical)

Has anybody had this experiance, mouse works fine untill
next boot then needs to be unpluged from usb socket and
put in a differant one then it works again.
I have tried uninstalling & re-installing software and
have down loaded latest 5.1 Drvers but problem still
persists, (it worked fine for the previous 3 months)then
suddenly!!!, Any ideas.

Perhaps you need to replace the batteries.
