Intellimouse Explorer Wireless 2.0

I am having a problem with vertical scrolling. All other
functions, including horizontal scrolling, work fine. I
have tried new batteries, uninstall/reinstall version 5.0
of Intellimouse software, changing channels, etc.
Evrything seems to work for a short period after doing
these things and then the vertical scrolling stops
working after a short period of time. Any ideas are
appreciated!
 
Check to see what the wheel button is assigned to do in your mouse
properties. I set mine to auto scroll but I think the default is next page.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will sure give it a try and
see if that helps. If nothing else, I can use the
autoscroll to scroll through my pages, although I really
like the wheel to react when I spin it. This is
frustarting as I just bought this mouse about 1 1/2
months ago and have been having this problem ever since!

Hi

Click Start/All Programs/Microsoft mouse
In microsoft mouse properties, click the rolling tab and check the box "Start vertical rolling", click OK
