Hello ng,

I just wanted to clean my IntelliMouse. Could someone please instruct me how to get to clean the
mouse wheel. It's rolling a little harder than it did I think.

Not sure if this would be worth your time and trouble since mice are
usually "cheap." Depending on the model, you may find several screws
under the mouse glide pads.

The screws are under the anti friction pad. You will probably need to
add glue to stick them back on after you are done.

When removing the track ball, then some plastc noses (don't know for sure if this was the right traslation )
ar visible inside the mouse. Was it some clip mechanism rather then there are screw under the glide pads?

I love this mouse a lot and want to keep it.

Sorry, going from memory, as I recall the "clips" were under the sides,
and you need to "distort" the sides a bit to pop them loose. I hated the
feel of those mice so we don't have any examples any more.

Hi Bob I,

do the left and right click buttons come off somehow by unclipping? I think I just need to get
to the spaces right and left besides the scroll wheel to clean off some remains al little.

No, the top shell comes off.

I'm afraid I'll break the mouse. Today's are also bend, but, to the other side. Don't know what
that was good for. Providing relief on spastic issues?
