Win 2003 server, Win2K clients.
User profiles set up on server.
Group policy set up for folder redirection to server,
(separate directory than profiles)
Problem: Items deleted from the desktop at a client
workstation do not go into the recycle bin. When deleting
an item Windows asks "Do you want to delete this item?".
When yes is selected the item just dissappears. (no, it is
not in the recycle bin on the server either). Normal
Windows behavior should ask "do you want to send this item
to the recycle bin?", a yres then should do so into the
local recycle bin.
Items deleted from the "My Documents" folder do go into
the local recycle bin, even though folder redirection has
moved this folder to the server.
Any help apperciated,
Cheers
