It's hard to say without knowing the rest of the specs for each system. The
AMD is a faster CPU. In a system with more ram, faster hard drive, faster
graphics card the Intel CPU based system could perform better. Tell us the
full specs of each system and we can give you a better idea.
 
In my experience, AMD is just as good as Intel, but less expensive - and I
use my system for everything, including sophisticated games and video tasks.
 
Just about all pc reviews go to AMD when comparing the two,games always
beat out intel.The only break intel gets...It can be overclocked to meet or
beat amd....

AMD; the processor is not ties to an archaic motherboard architecture like
the P-D is.
