Windows XP SP3
I'm not sure if it is related, but after I installed a Logitec QuickCam
4000 - my sound stopped working.
There is no speaker in the tray - when I go under Control panel and play
a sound - it says the sound card is in use.
I uninstalled all the Logitec junk - no change.
I reinstalled the sound driver under admin, and it barely works - it is
quiet - way too quiet despite having all of the slidebars at the max.
Once I log in as a power user - no sound at all, it was as before I
can't play a sound because it says the soundcard is in use and no
speaker in the tray.
I can play MP3s with WinAmp though.
