Hello,
We've been using Intel Motherboards for quite some time and we've noticed a trend. When using the latest BIOS, latest drivers, etc...the network card after about 30 minutes goes all crazy. Ping times on a LAN range from 80-1000ms...if you even receive a reply at all. If you do a software reboot the network connection is no longer listed under Network Connections. This is true for both Windows XP Pro and Windows Home Server. If you power the computer down and allow it to sit for a short time, the network connection is fine when it powers back up. Very odd indeed. I decided to post this information here vs. Intel's website as I find this forum in my searches more often with more relevant information. If you have any solutions to this issue please post a reply. If not, I hope this post is found by someone else who is experiencing the same issue so they know they're not dealing with an isolated case of hardware/software/gremlin flakeyness.
Sincerely,
