integration with MSN Messenger

I have an installation of Outlook 2003 both at work and
at home. At work, an email will show the persons
Messenger status and give me the option to IM them. At
home, the settings are the same but the function does not
work. Any ideas?

are you logged into the same version of IM at both sites? OL needs windows
messenger.
