Is it possible to integrate the SP4 Hotfixes into the main
SP4 Install?
I'm preparing to push out SP4 to a few thousand machines
and I don't want to have to reboot after SP4 to reinstall
all of the Hotfixes that require SP4 and then force a 2nd
reboot.
I realize that the ones that work for SP3+SP4 could be
pushed out at the same time, but some require SP4 to be
pre-installed.
I am even considering "re-running" the hotfixes after
the "Integrated-SP4" install but telling the hot-fixes to
not reboot the PC.
This way Windows SFC and the Installed Programs Registry
section should all be happy about knowing they have been
installed.
I just thought I would bounce it off a few folks here
before putting too much time into an idea that somebody
else has determined can't work.
