Integrating AD with Applications

I am curious as to how some of you are integrating in-
house apps into your Active Directory, if at all. Is
anyone actually storing app data in any way in their
directory? Thanks.

I am an IT consultant dedicated to integrating AD (+ADAM)
and Exchange into applications (or the opposite).

Yes you can use AD to store data but it highly depends on
the nature of data to be stored.
