Followed all instructions from the various documents I
looked atas follows.
copy entire win2000 server Cd to share.
run sp update with correct switch and receive message
"Not all files neccessary to perform an integrated
installation are present."
How can this be when I have copied the entire CD?

Before attempting an integration of SP2, you should expand W2KSP2 using the
"-x" switch. After the files are expanded, you can run "update /s" from
the
update folder. Your commmand may look something like this;

c:\sp2\i386\update\update /s:<distribution folder path>

The "distribution folder path", should point to the folder that holds the
i386
folder. Do not include the i386 folder in the path (you may receive the
above
stated error message).

C:\sp4\i386\update\update.exe -s:c:\w2kinstall
My path is as above and the w2kinstall folder holds a
copy of the 2000 server CD.
I have tried both the -s and /s switch as stated by you
below and both give me the same error message.

Anybody have any further ideas on this?
