Integrate with Shared Contacts under Windows and Linux

Hi

I just want to know what's the best way to integrate with the Shared
Contacts on Outlook from a Windows Service, as well as from a Linux
Daemon.

Basically I want to be able to search , modify and add contacts.

Perhaps an LDAP server would suit your needs.
