Intall 2 lan card

hi,
I had installed 2 lan card in my Windows 2000 server, one
is built-in on mother board and another I had added on
expension slot. The problem is only 1 lan card will work
at a time that is which is built-in on the board.
What is the cause of problem, both lancards are configure
properly, then why only 1 card is giving response.
Please help me in this regard.

Both cards are configured properly to do what? If it's communicate on
the same logical network, then it''s behaving correctly. If you're
trying to duplex the cards for throughput, that's a function of the
card/driver and you haven't got it configured correctly *or* you have
cards which can't be duplexed.
