having a very strange prob...sometimes when i click on a
link the then opened page will not close without shutting
down the whole if ie..???!!
I also have a prob when i get a ie page which will not do
anything eg load/shut etc..

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with these
tools.

when running Win 95 IE 5.5, else the browser window closes.

Every time I click on a link that opens to a new window, Internet Explorer
browser closes. Or if a pop-up appears, the browser closes. Help?


I fixed the problem! I found the solution to my problem.

Start->Control Panel->Regional & Language Options-
Languages Tab->Details->Select Speech Recognition->Press
Click to expand...
Remove->Press OK

Weird but it worked!
