insufficient memory - word cannot display font

I am using Outlook XP and Word XP. When opening a message, it
prompts "There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannont
display the request font".

I thought this was purhaps a general hardware fault, but after the
user reported the problem since receiving a new PC, drilled them for
more information and found out its only in outlook, when opening
emails with attachments that it occurs

Anyone seen this or anything similar before?
