instant messanger

My child uses instant messanger all the time, we have 3 separte accounts on my computer. I would like to have it only on her account not my two. When I open my two accounts the instant messanger comes on it drives me crazy How do I fix it that it comes on her account only.

This really depends on what instant messenger you're referring to.

However, when logged into your account, open up the main Messenger window (double click on
its icon in the notification area/system tray, by the clock), then click the Tools menu, then
Options, click the General tab (or Preferences tab depending on version), uncheck
'Automatically run Messenger when I log on to Windows' or 'Run this program when Windows
starts' (also depending on version) and click OK.
