How the heck do I install a ".tar.tz"

RPMs are dead easy, just use YaST. :p

I just found CorelPhotoPaint ... one program I know insidout ... and its free for Linux :D

WinZip and WinRar can do it for windows, although I guess thats not much help is it ;) Tag.gz are native Linux formats I think, so it should be a common enough app :)

HA!

Ok, I'll make it a little clearer, as I know how to 'extract' ... you just right click and extract to where you like.

But I don't know how to install it.

Nevermind ... it has a Linux installer, but I'm missing some file. :(

Amazing how many jobs one can do at the same time. :p

No need to look for anything ... amazing what right-click can do. :p

That's the main reason I don't ask questions, usually figure it out before someone comes up with an acceptable answer.

Just to let you all know ... you need to burn CorelPhotoPaint to CD ... it then installs just like a windows program.

Damed If I can get BitTorrent .RPM to work though. :(

Thanks for posting about the freestuff that I havent heard of. I think Ill download this cause I want to get another Linux box going for photos.

Here is another photo paint program, Krita from KDE org.
I think all KDE stuff works on SuSE cause the desktop is KDE.
I dont have SuSE and this might allready be on it.

Ya might like the other KDE addons here.
