Installing XP

I'm having some problems installing XP. The computer will
boot to the setup screen, but it just stays blue, and the
cd rom stops spinning. I've tried installing it on an old
setup and transferring the hard drive, but amd getting an
error.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi

What does the error message say? Try disconnecting your hardware, apart
from the mouse, keyboard and monitor.

This is generally characteristic of faulty RAM. Try reseating the RAM
modules. If you have more than one stick try removing one and see if setup
continues if not try the other stick.
