Hi, I installed a lot of systems with sata drives, I always press F6 when win asks for drivers but in my last computer (asus a7v600 athlon2200+ 512 ddr 266) when I try to install winxp pro, it doesn't ask me for drivers and prompts directly to the blue screen that ask to press f3 to install winxp but pressing f3 it tells me that there's no hd. does anyone know how I can install xp on my sata drive?

nothing happens with f8 but I bypassed the problem. I installed xp on pata, at the end of installation of xp and sata driver, I copyed files on pata in sata and changed the unit letter with diskwizard by seagate. all work properly now and very very fast. bye
