Is it possible to use an installation disk for XP on more
than one computer. What I would ideally like to do is to
use the current CD that I have already purchased to
install on a second PC. Of course I would need to buy a
second license. What I would like to know is whether
there is an option to purchase that license during
activation, rather than having to go out and purchase
another CD.

Greetings --

Yes, that's possible, assuming you have a retail license.
Naturally, Microsoft cannot sell additional OEM licenses. Just have
your credit card available when you call to activate. Be aware,
however, that you'll probably pay more this way than you would if you
were to buy a second copy of WinXP from a discount retailer; Microsoft
will only offer you a 15% discount off their MSRP.

You can use the same Windows XP installation disk, but you'll
need a new license (Product Key) for each installation on a different
computer.
