installing XP, HD-problems.

I have now Win2K installed and a brand new Maxtor 250Gb HD. I've formatted
and chopped the new HD in 3 drives and moved there all my essential data that
I need to save from the old HD. Does the XP Pro understand the new drive
without problems after SP 1(+2)?

If you partitioned and formatted the drive using Disk Management, the
answer is yes. Otherwise, ?
