Installing with USB Keyboard

I am having a problem installing windows 2000 prof on a
system that has blown P/S 2 ports. The keyboard and mouse
are both USB. Upon doing a clean install or upgrade, The
keyboard does not work when it comes time to enter in
information, I can not continue setup from this pointe.

Please Advise

see if there is an option in the bios for USB-dos support
then enable it

that *might* work
