Hi
I have a ASUS Motherboard P4P800 and I want to install Windows Xp in a
single SATA Hdd (not in RAID, only one disk).
The problem is that I dont know wich is the drivers That I must use. I
installed three times the windows and always run very bad. Before that this
HDD I had the same but P-ATA and windows hadn't problems.
Actually I use Promise 378SATA that I Found in the Motherboard's CD, but I
dont know that is the correct driver.
Please, wich is the drivers that I must use??, where I can donwload it??
Thanks

Diego

Try going to this folder on the P4P800 CD and see if the make disk
executable will do what you need... Don't use SATA Raid, but this appears
to be the route to take with this board. (Your CD Drive
Letter):\Drivers\Chipset\IAA

It definitly does not use a Promise Controler for SATA!

Good Luck,
Len
