Hi! I had windows 98 on my computer and just installed
windows xp. I have not deleted 98 for fear my old
programs and data will be lost. Will my Autocad 2000,
and office 2000 still work?

Both those programs should still work but you should re-install all your
software for the new OS. If you are dual-booting you will want your
software installed for both 98 and XP.

Hi,

If they are up and running under WinXP, then you are safe to delete the
residual Win98 system folders. If they are not, then you need to reinstall
the programs under WinXP (and you would have to do this in either case,
whether or not the Win98 system fodlers still existed).
