Can somebody with an OSX server verify this?
With the RC2 build (and after), I was able to sucessfully log into my
OSX server and install applications residing on the server (ie,
Firefox.)
With UAC on, I have the following happen after double-clicking on the
installer:
1) "Do you want to run this file?" warning box
2) UAC box allowing me to "continue" the install.
3) A "cannot access network resource" box requiring me to
reauthenticate to my server (supplying the exact same credentials as
before...)
With RC2 (and builds after) -- the install would then proceed.
With RTM -- the "cannot access network resource" box just keeps
reappearing over and over and over...
Which is driving me insane as it was broken pre-RC2, but fixed in that
build and subsequent builds!
Can somebody reproduce this?
It basically kills rollout of Vista (with UAC on at least -- everything
works if I turn UAC *off*) here otherwise!
