We have 3 laptops connected to a network through an ADSL Router and switch.
Also attached to the network is a remote hard drive that we use as a data
store. We have purchased some customer management software that needs to be
loaded on a "machine" that has an operating system that we want to share
amongst the three laptops. The CMS needs an operating system because it
installs sql software. Is it possible to install W2K onto a remote hard
drive? The hard drive is a standalone hard drive connected to the network
with a USB adaptor.
Thanks
Tony

No.

Maybe you can do something with Virtual PC 2004 (2007 comming soon).

The views expressed are my own (as annoying as they are), and not those of my

Thanks Phillip, I suspected as much :-) Need to buy a desktop to put on the
network I suppose
