I installed vista Beta 2 on my system.
No problems at all. I received RC 1 and upgraded the system no problems.
My hard drive crashed so I got a new 80 gig Western Dig. hard drive.
I first installed XP Pro with NTFS file.
Now when I try to install the beta version on the new hard drive I get an
error message
stating "Your computer is not compatible and you can not install Vista.
So I tried to install the upgrade without the beta version first.
I get an error message stating "This comp. is not compliant with the Advanced
Configuration and Power Interface standard"
I did the Vista scan to see what it means and the Vista scan says my computer
is compliant and will run vista.
I have tried numerous times but get the same errors.
I have downloaded and installed all available updates.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thank you

Are you booting the machine with the Vista RC1 disc or opening it up in XP?
