Installing ultimate on top of home premium.

Can I do this without any other actions or 'whatever?'

Hi,

As an in-place upgrade, no other action is required. A wise person still
backs up critical data prior to any major OS changes, and this would qualify
as one of those events.

A wiser person would not have the user shell folders on the OS drive at all,
or at least have them on a different partition (laptop). I find that making
hidden junction points in the original locations is better than using the
Properties move thing.
