Installing themes

I have been given some new themes for windows but can not figure out how to
use them, I put them in windows -resources-themes but when I go through
control panel to change themes it wont let me open them.
Can anyone advise

i wouldn't install any themes
unless they came from microsoft
since they are a good source of
hidden codes and infections.

So you may be very very lucky
that they couldnt install for you...

if you want additional themes that use
up most of your memory and cpu
processing power, stick with something
like "windows blinds".....
