Installing SP1 on device

Is this true ?

VS will not push it down, you must run the CF 1.0 SP1 with the device
connected to get the new runtime on the device.

When you actually have it installed on the device you should see the deploy
message:

Files in the package 'netcf.all.wce4.armv4.cab' are more recent on the
device than on the development computer. Consider upgrading to the latest
version. Files affected are:

Hi Jeff,

That is correct, VS will push down version 1.0 but not SP1. The service
pack must be installed manually or by a custom installation routine.
