installing security package

First off, this is not a Microsoft product. I purchased
pccillin security system to install, and could not because
I received an error message #2908. Contacted them and
they said it was an microsoft problem. I am at a lost as
to where to turn for help. I have updated all of my
windows, but it still doesn't install. I have it on my
desk top, but unable to complete the installation.
Who do I contact, or can you help me? Can I do something
on my pc to correct this problem?

Probably. But it would be up to the PC-Cillin folks to tell you how,
it''s their product. Since we don't have a clue what "error message
#2908" says or means, we can't provide much more help.

You could always return it and use an anti-virus package that works,
and is even free. AVG from grisoft.com is a popular one.
