Hi, i just put together a new pc and installed XP pro to my main HD and want
to add an old Maxtor HD that contains several GBs of data, but it's
formatted to FAT32 with no OS installed on it. I have the ATA 133 PCI
drivers necessary for this HD, but I'm wondering if it's completely safe to
do? Is theres a chance of me losing data?

It's safe and should be fine assuming you connect and jumper it properly.
There should be no need to install any drivers.
I intend to use both as master devices...i'm assuming it's ok?

Are you wanting a dual boot system? or just the ability to access the data
from the old drive?

Right now I just want to be able to access the data from the main drive
Local Disk (C:) with XP installed on it. In the future I would want a dual
boot.
