Installing/running two HP Printers

Hi,

I have a HP2179 all in one installed on my system. It's a great printer but
it somehow got dirty underneath the sealed glass scanning plate and leaves
shadows on any scanning or copying I did. I spoke to the company who I had
a warranty with and the sent me vouchers so I could purchase and new all in
one (I opted for a HP2355).

I've got spare cartridges for my HP2179 which prints fine so I am reluctant
to uninstall it and want to continue to use if for print jobs. I also need
to do some scanning which I would like to use the HP2355 for (until the
cartridges for the HP2179 run out).

I started the install process for the HP2355 and it said that I needed to
first uninstall the HP2179. Is there anyway that I can run both all in ones
on my system.

I've not got a spare USB cable to so just wanted to use my existing one with
both printers by unplugging it from one and plugging it in the other when
required.

Any advice would be appreciated. Printer cartridges are
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO expensive!

Buy another USB cable and connect it to different USB port.
Ya, the HP inks are very expensive.
You had to buy an Epson or Canon printer that has a much lower costs inks.
