installing program

i am running windows 2000 when i tried to installa program
from a cd i get the file and path and device is denied
all my other software cds load and install this is photo
explosion deluxe i installed it on another computer fine
but on mine i cannot any help?
 
Are the computers networked? If so, can you share the CD drive on the WinXP
PC and try to run setup from there?
