Being a complete and utter luddite I am reluctant to do the install without
advice from those who know.

I deleted Office 2003 recently and installed the student version of Office
2007 without realizing it did not come with outlook - I just purchased
Outlook07 and have two email addys that I need - one business, the other
personal.

I really need step-by-step guidance.

Anyone?

Thanks!!

You can simply install Outlook 2007 then and run Microsoft Update to install
the latest updates for it.
If you had already configured Outlook 2003 with those accounts, then your
account and Outlook settings will be migrated to Outlook 2007 upon first
startup (this could take a while when you have a large pst-file since
Service Pack 2 for Outlook introduced some significant changes).

That would be the perfect scenario. In case you run into issues upon first
startup, recreating the mail profile will probably help;

If you used already Outlook 2003, then making a backup of your data file
(pst-file) before beginning with everything is recommended so that you can
always fall back to a working state. For backup and restore details see;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm

For separating incoming mails from 2 different POP3 accounts are various
techniques. An overview of techniques that can be used can be found here;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/sortmail.htm

I think you should be covered now, but let us know if you need any more help
or questions answered before or after your installation ;-)
