installing on 2nd edtion gives old version warning

All the .NET CF applications we create (even with the update for PPC 2003
2nd Edition) are giving an error warning about being created for a OS prior
to PPC 2003 2nd Edition and "may not work".

The same thing happens for Microsoft applications such as PowerToys, etc.

The applications do indeed work fine. But we are curious if there is a way
to avoid this message.

What about CAB files we have to distribute that we didn't create? Like
SQLCE? This cab gives the warning message and this message is embarrassing
in front of our customers.

If you have a custom installation on the device you can call WceLoad with
the /noui option and this warning message will not be shown e.g.

Process.Start("Wceload.exe", "/noui /noaskdest \"\\sqlce.wce4.ARMV4.Cab\"");

I'm using the desktop WCEAppMgr to install.

In our case, I think it is also the fact that that the OpenNetCF .dll's need
to be updated.
