I upgraded a PC from Win98 to XP Pro. I had uninstalled
Office 2000 before the upgrade as recommended. I installed
Office XP. At the same time, I had a new server put in and
went from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. I don't know
exactly where my issue lies, but the problem is this:
On one (out of 10) machine, when I try to open Outlook for
the first time, it keeps asking for the password. I type
in the password but it doesn't like it. the error I get
says: Your logon information was incorrect. Check your
username and domain, then type your password again.
I checked the RPC settings in the registry, but they are
fine. I changed the password on the server and still get
the error (didn't figure that was really the problem
anyway, since I can log into that server).
Anyone else encounter this? Or know how to resolve it?
Thanks!!!
