installing Office 97

Am trying to install my old Office 97 and it says I do
not have a license. Please advise.

Hi Richard:

The solution Wayne offered worked for me. There were/are
a few quirks though. Office 97 may not startup on its
own, so you may have to find the actual startup file and
execute that. After the reinstall, it may say there was
a problem.. I ignored it and it completed the reinstall
ok.
In WIN XP HOME the find file routine is a bit different
but navigable (to rename the HATTEN font). Some other
required routines are a bit different too.. some have
different names, for example but the concepts are
identical.

I did all the SIXTEEN NUMBERED steps.. all turned out
OK. I did not reboot the system and tested the actual
running of ACCESS with real database material. ALL OK.
