Installing nokia pc suite for mobile

when i try to in stall this i get an error message 1935 HRESULT 0x8007002
what is problem please
 
Hi Jack,
Do you have the Min requirements for the Nokia Suite to run on your OS, I
think Nokia Suite software it does not run over less than Wins 2000 and have
limit on how much RM and disk space to run them.
Read the help file on the CD to see if your System support runing this suite
or if your system met the Requirements then your CD software may defective
try to visist Nokia site and download the Suite which match the specs of your
Device:
http://www.nokia.com/
Download and extract/Run and see if you will be able to connect the Nokia
Device to your PC.

Thank you for your reply, yes i have windows XP PRO more than enough to
install it. I am not running it from a CD i am installing it from NOKIA web
site. I had it installed before with no problems. I had to re intall my XP
and it is now i am getting problem.

Hi Jack,
TRy to Remove completely all traces left behind the uninstall process by run
the local search engine and in the registry ( be carefull here).
Then be sure your OS have all updates installed and go to nokia and download
the exact Suite to your Device version and install it.
This issue can happen if your download link is broken and one of the files
downloaded is damaged or corrupted.

P.S what version is your Mobile (19300,19500...etc).
 
Not sure how to do what you are explaining especially the registry bit. I
have a NOKIA 6111 and am downloading latest version of PC SUIITE 6.8

TRy to Remove completely all traces left behind the uninstall process by run
the local search engine and in the registry ( be carefull here).
Then be sure your OS have all updates installed and go to nokia and download
the exact Suite to your Device version and install it.
This issue can happen if your download link is broken and one of the files

also our MSXML parser not installed to support this Suite.

For Windows installer dwonload 3.1 version for SP1,SP2 on XP platform;

Nass excuse my ignoranace but when i click onto link there are 4 files i have
option of downloading. Which MSXML file is appropriate to me
Jack, This error produced by windows installer it is looking for the
File/folder on your computer and can't see it or the Installer is corrupt,
also our MSXML parser not installed to support this Suite.

Jack, the Files you saw are what in the whole download, and also if you are
sure that one of these files is damaged on your system, then they give you
the choice to download one of them individually instead of the whole package.
So Just Click on the Blue Link on the top of the download Window to download
and then install.
For the installer if didn't work you can use third party installer software
to help install the Nokia Suite.

that only option i had was to pick the four separate options

Try first the Windows installer before this download and see if your issue
will be cured if not install msxml.msi and reboot and try your Suite.

getting an error message HRESULT 0X80070002
Please advise,

also NET Framwork could be involved in.
If you don't have Data to worry about on your PC try to do New installation
and format your hard drive and do clean installation if you realy want this
Suite to work, you may have the Installer damaged, did you have updates
recently and installed it without any problem or installed other softwares
and the process went Okay.

Again i thank your for your time and patience. This appears to be the problem.
I got my PC Re formatted last week and it is only after that problem has
arisen. I had it installed before that and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately
i had not it saved. I tried installing windows installer from your link and
it ask me for some sort of key number which i do not have. I would appreciate
if you could again advise

XP CD handy to put it in if it needed, if you do n't have CD get another XP
CD from a friend has the Same XP CD version it will do.
After finish fixing whichever will find Reboot and try to update your System
from MS website and hopefully by doing that you will get to a stage where you
can install the Suite.

Also scan your computer for Malware and viruses to be sure you don't have a
virus corrupting your machine.

typed in sfc/scannow get a message saying windows cannot find it
also no malware on system i run a scan
Try to Open RUN command and type this: sfc /scannow and click OK, get your
XP CD handy to put it in if it needed, if you do n't have CD get another XP
CD from a friend has the Same XP CD version it will do.
After finish fixing whichever will find Reboot and try to update your System
from MS website and hopefully by doing that you will get to a stage where you
can install the Suite.

There is space between sfc_/scannow:
sfc /scannow cut and paste this to your RUN command and click OK and see
if it will find corrupt or damaged files and ask you to put the CD in.

I've had problems with installing Nokia PC Suite for an N70. I found that
downloading the cable driver first, then downloading the apropriate PC Suite
and pluging it directly into the USB (NOT A HUB) did the trick.

If you have to UNinstall PC Suite, download the Nokia PC Suite cleaner from
http://europe.nokia.com/A4144912

I use Microsoft XP Pro
