installing new drivers unattended

I'm attempting to install new drivers from a command prompt. I've found the
line that would do it in Windows 95, but am having troubles converting the
command line into Windows 2000 friendly. I think the line should be
"rundll32.exe setupdll.dll,InstallHinfSection <section> <reboot> <inf file>
However, I'm getting an error relating to the InstallHinfSection missing.
Can anyone help me out with this one??

Hi Marla,

According to KB311272, you can use the DevCon command line utility (devcon.exe) to
(among other things) manually install a device. Perhaps it could help. For more
